Cake Lace Mix White 500g
Cake Lace Mix when used with Cake Lace Moulds will give you a beautiful edible lace effect which will look stunning on your cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods. The Cake Lace Mix sets hard in the moulds yet is flexible enough to carefully peel out and attach to your cake.
The Cake Lace Mix comes in two separate parts, Part A and Part B, inside the tub.
50g lace mix Part A (dry mix)
3g Part B (liquid)
Mix lace mix Part A and water on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Add Part B and mix for 5 minutes on high speed.
Use a cake scraper to smooth mixture over the cake lace mould, ensuring a consistent thick coverage.
Dry the lace inside the cake lace mould in an 80 degree celsius (175 fahrenheit) oven for approximately 12 minutes.
Cool and carefully remove decorations from the mat.
Alternatively, you can air dry in the cake lace mould for approximately 8 hours.
Attach to fondant cakes with a light spray of water or steam the surface.
Prepared lace decorations may be stored in an air tight container, between baking paper for up to 3 months in cool dry conditions.
