Introducing - Margie Carter

"Margaret Carter,  Co-founder of Planet Cake, and now Margie Cater Cake World, is known as the 3D cake queen of Australia (if not the world).  She is what we call a true artist.
Margie has been on the forefront of cake decorating world wide for as long as we can remember.

She is one remarkable and generous decorator who remains humble and witty through her years of caking."

Introducing Faye -
Faye Cahill Cake Design.

"Faye is a professional cake decorator with 24 years of experience. Her company Faye Cahill Cake Design was established in Sydney Australia 10 years ago and quickly gained a reputation for stylish and trend setting wedding cakes. Faye’s design aesthetic pairs tailored, refined looks with fine detailing, custom lace and stylised flowers. She pioneered the use of silver and gold leaf on fondant cakes, popularised pearlised finishes and her distinctive style of sugar flowers and piped lace have been influential on wedding cake trends worldwide.

Alongside running a busy studio, Faye shares her skills with the cake decorating community through classes and tutorials. She has two popular classes on Craftsy and has taught within Australia and in in many locations worldwide including Spain, France, Germany, UK, North America, Jakarta, Dubai, Mumbai, Zurich and Bahamas. The techniques taught in live workshops come from Faye’s studio practice of finding efficient ways to give cakes strong visual impact and are suitable for both commercial decorators and hobbyists."

Introducing Zoe - Zoe Clark.

"Zoë’s love and interest for food and design was evident from an early age. As a child she spent much of her time baking and decorating cakes with her mum, and working on all kinds of exciting art and craft projects.

Although she initially followed the path of foreign languages, graduating from Bath University, her true calling was more creative. She enrolled in cookery and patisserie classes while working at some of Australia’s most illustrious restaurants, including the Stokehouse and Langtons in Melbourne, Ricky Ricardo’s and The Spirit House on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Returning to London in 2006, Zoë spent her first year learning the basics of cake decorating, taking classes and working in some of London’s best bakeries, before setting up her own business designing and making wedding and celebration cakes.

Zoë’s unique and elegant style is often inspired by beautiful fabric and art, and frequently features in international sugarcraft and bridal titles. In 2011 she designed a range for Fortnum and Mason, which also commissioned her to make a cake for Her Majesty the Queen to celebrate her Diamond Jubilee.

Zoë has generously shared her skills and knowledge to individuals through hands-on, intimate and larger group lessons, as well as online tutorials. She is often invited to teach at cooking schools and cake shows across the globe and her most popular techniques can also be discovered via the online education platform Craftsy. Zoë has published a variety of bestselling books, from Chic and Unique Vintage Cakes to her most recent title, Elegant Lace Cakes. Her books, just like her hands-on teaching, offer all the necessary tips and techniques through easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions to make the projects achievable and interesting for everyone.

At the beginning of 2017, Zoë moved back to Australia after selling The Cake Parlour in Wimbledon, in search of a new way of life and the next cake adventure. Her success so far has come from hard work, determination and a drive to produce beautiful and innovative designs, and she hopes to continue inspiring and motivating through her passion for cake art."

Introducing Trina - Sweet Ruby Cakes.

"My B.A in Fine Arts led me through many creative professions until I discovered the delights of baking, designing, decorating and sculpting gorgeous cakes and sugar adornments. It has been the perfect marriage. This joyful union has taken me overseas to study at the Bonnie Gordon Confectionary College in Toronto and finally led me back home to Australia, where I design custom made cakes, teach confectionary art and spread the Sweet Ruby cake love.

I am blessed to be able to work with wonderful clients who are looking for something innovative to celebrate the important milestones in their lives."

Introducing Cliff - Cakes By Cliff.

"For the most of 2014, Clifford (Sydney, Australia) was baking goods on a weekly basis for family & friends and decided to pursue his new found passion.

In 2015, Cakes by Cliff was born creating cakes for all occasions whilst working full time. Clifford today continues to create and decorate cakes as a part time hobby.

His cake decorating artistry + style is derived from his architectural studies, his love of geometrical shapes, patterns and unadulterated flair for flavour combinations.

As of today, Clifford has been involved in many creating collaborations for brands, wedding, special events and various magazine publications. He has also travelled both locally and overseas to teach his own cake decorating tips to many baking enthusiasts.

Aside from Cakes & Desserts, Clifford is also passionate about photography, capturing the small candid moments."

Introducing Kerrie - Viva La Buttercream.

"My name is Kerrie Wyer. I'm a Buttercream Artist, Writer, Blogger, and inciter of shenanigans. Especially  the shenanigans. I create Buttercream Art, tutorials and recipes, from my gloriously crazy home studio in Sydney, Australia. That is when I'm not enjoying being married to the greatest man alive, and refereeing our two crazy little boys!

My work has been featured by The Australian Cake Decorating Network, Cake! magazine, Cake Decoration and Sugarcraft Magazine, Cakes Decor, Cake Central, and Cake Masters Magazine. I'm also the resident Buttercream Expert at American Cake Decorating Magazine, so be sure to check it out!

I have chosen to specialise in Buttercream, because Buttercream speaks to me. Not in a literal sense, that would be Craaaazy! (sssh! They're on to us!) Ahem, I digress.

I created Viva La Buttercream (named for the Buttercream love I incited at every opportunity!), to share my knowledge, enthusiasm, passion, and unique brand of tomfoolery, with anyone willing to learn, regardless of skill level."
