Sweet Sticks Edible Lustre Dust is fine lustre powder suitable for brushing on to products such as fondant, royal icing, crusted buttercream, macarons and meringues or to paint and airbrush with. The Lustre Dust comes in a convenient 5gm container with a flip top lid – perfect for controlling the amount of dust you need and creating less waste.
Dust: brush straight on to your surface with a food grade dusting brush.
Paint: by mixing a clear alcohol such as Decorator’s Alcohol (Rose Spirit), you can create a lustre paint. We carry the full range of Edible Art Brushes to help you get started on your dusting and painting journey.
Spray: thin the lustre dust even further with Decorator’s Alcohol (Rose Spirit) and place the liquid into your airbrush spray gun.
The Lustre Dust colour range compliments the existing paint colours in the Edible Art range, so you can mix and match your products to suit your use. The Lustre Dust will give you a beautiful metallic sheen to your cake decorating icing or desserts.
